How to secure your spot

To confirm your place on the adventure, a 30% deposit of the total package cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your spot and allows us to reserve accommodations and experiences exclusively for you.

Remaining Balance (70%)
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the adventure start date. If the balance is not received by this deadline, the booking will be considered cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

This payment structure allows you to secure your place early while completing payment closer to the adventure date.

Where is this family trip taking place?

This adventure takes place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a modern and family-friendly destination known for its world-class theme parks, beautiful waterfront areas, and exciting desert landscapes. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and unforgettable experiences for both kids and parents.

How do we get there from Cyprus?

All flights are included in the package price. The group will travel together from Larnaca Airport to Abu Dhabi. Full flight details, meeting time, and airport assistance information will be shared with families before departure. We travel together as a group, making the journey easier and more reassuring for parents.

Can we join from another country?

Yes, families joining from other countries are welcome. Please contact us for a personalised quote and coordination of your flights so you can join the group in Abu Dhabi.

Do we need a visa to travel to Abu Dhabi?

Cypriot passport holders receive a visa on arrival in the UAE, so there is no need to arrange anything in advance. If you hold a different passport, please contact us before booking so we can guide you on the entry requirements. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

What is included with the flights?

Flights are booked in economy class and include:
 • One checked suitcase per adult (according to airline allowance)
 • One carry-on bag per passenger
 • One small personal item per passenger
Checked baggage is included for adults only.
Children are entitled to one carry-on bag and one personal item.

Seat allocation is managed by the airline. Airlines usually seat families together, especially when traveling with young children. However, seating cannot be guaranteed in advance unless specific seats are selected. Families who wish to request specific seats, guaranteed seating together, or cabin upgrades may do so in advance by paying any applicable fare difference, subject to availability.

For special luggage requirements (such as pushchairs, car seats, or additional baggage), please contact us in advance so we can assist with the request in accordance with airline policies.

Where will we stay?

Families will stay at the 5-star Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel known for its comfort, excellent service, and family-friendly facilities. The hotel offers a beautiful pool area, spacious rooms, and high-quality dining, a relaxing base after exciting park days.

What meals are included?

The trip is on a half-board basis, which means:

What is the weather like in August?

While August is hot in Abu Dhabi, all parks and experiences are indoors and fully air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the day. The desert safari takes place in air-conditioned vehicles, and by the time we reach the desert in the evening, temperatures are cooler, making the experience much more comfortable.

What currency is used?

The local currency is the UAE Dirham (AED). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in malls, hotel, and theme parks.

Is this trip safe for families?

Yes. Abu Dhabi is considered one of the safest cities in the world, with excellent infrastructure, high safety standards, and family-friendly public spaces. All activities in this programme are operated by licensed providers and are suitable for families with children. Theme parks, transportation, and desert safari experiences follow strict safety regulations, and our itinerary is designed to be enjoyable without being overwhelming.

Will we have support during the trip?

Absolutely. A Cypriot tour escort travels with the group from departure to return, assisting with coordination, guidance, and any questions that may arise. You’ll also be traveling alongside other families, creating a supportive group atmosphere where everyone looks out for one another. Yes, the desert safari is suitable for all ages, including young children such as 2-year-olds.
The experience takes place in air-conditioned vehicles and is designed to be comfortable for families. The drive is paced with safety and comfort in mind, and the main activities are relaxed and observational. That said, participation in optional activities (such as dune driving or other adventure elements) may be restricted for very young children, pregnant guests, or anyone with specific health concerns. Families can choose to skip any activity and enjoy the experience at their own pace.
If you are traveling with very young children, or if a guest is pregnant please let us know in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements and advise on the most suitable options.

What happens in case of illness or an emergency?

Abu Dhabi has excellent medical facilities and international-standard healthcare services. In the unlikely event of illness or emergency, we will assist you in accessing medical care and coordinating next steps. We strongly recommend that all travellers have travel insurance that covers medical expenses and trip interruption for added peace of mind.

What should I pack for this trip?

Abu Dhabi in April is warm and sunny, and your days will include theme parks, a desert safari, and time at the hotel. We recommend packing:

Bookings Terms & Payment Policy

Deposit:
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. 
Balance Payment:
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days (1 month) before the retreat start date. Failure to pay on time will result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

What is XPERIENCE cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be made in writing via email and are effective from the date we receive your notice.

Cancellation fees apply as outlined in our Terms & Conditions:
 • Up to 60 days before departure: 10% of the total trip cost
 • 59–30 days before departure: 30% of the total trip cost
 • 29–21 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost
 • 20 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip cost
 • No-show: 100% of the trip cost

Please note that cancellation terms may vary for certain special packages or services, and any non-refundable components (such as flights or special permits) will be clearly stated in your trip details.

Can XPERIENCE cancel my trip?

In rare cases, XPERIENCE may need to cancel a trip for operational, safety, or other important reasons beyond our control.

If this happens, you will be offered the option to:
 • Join another XPERIENCE trip (any price difference may apply), or
 • Receive a full refund of the amounts you have paid
